Families love these sessions, full of songs, rhymes, and musical activities followed by free play. The team from your community of faith will be resourced and supported with all they need to create educationally rich interactions. Laughter and delight will abound. Families come to meet new friends, eat great cake, learn together, and enjoy a safe space to engage with their little one.
Instead of reinventing a Toddler group, your team will be supported with a framework for mission, content for sessions, and the knowledge they are never wondering, ‘what shall we do next?’

Story-based activities
When children get to engage in messy play, parents and carers love that it’s not happening at their house! Your community of faith’s team will be resourced and supported with a book to read, achievable craft suggestions, learning through songs, and more, followed by free play. Families find these sessions nurturing, calm, and engaging. Families love the chance to engage with their little one, enjoy the company of others from their neighbourhood, learn together, and eat great cake.
Instead of searching endlessly for content, you’ll be supported with a framework for the session, content that keeps families returning, and a consistency of mission focus.

Babies
As the journey of parenting starts, families are keen to get guidance in how to connect with their little one. These sessions last eight weeks and prioritise the intimate connection a parent needs to create with their little one for attachment to be experienced. Through music and rhyme, parents develop their confidence in engaging, learning ways to communicate and grow their relationship with baby.
Sessions can be delivered on-line, although in-person is best. These times are nurturing – for the parent with their child, and for the parent as they take advantage of maternity leave or the very early days of relationship.

Every 2-3 weeks, we remind families, “We are members of this church and …” One lady asked, “What IS Easter about?” The conversation delved into the story of Jesus, His sacrifice and resurrection. Pho’s faith background didn’t include the Easter story. Realising this question provided a bigger opportunity for engagement, Sandra put together a list of simple Bible references. Easily found through links accessible on their phones, mothers found truth and continued to explore with the team the real message of Easter.
Peter made it a priority to drop in each week. Brett, one of the dads, enjoyed chatting about life. Together, Peter and Brett have been exploring faith through The Word One-to-One. Last year, Peter led the church in using Alpha for families from the group to explore life’s meaning. Three mums attended – one whose faith had become secondary to life’s pressures. She now reads her Bible and has re-engaged. Another Alpha is planned, being held at a café in the evening. More parents have signed up.
Our group only started five months ago and already two families have engaged in faith. One has been attending a Bible study group. The other, after getting to know our team, felt comfortable to accept the invitation to attend church.
